The Clinical Observation And Experimental Research Of Treatment Of The Perimenopausal Syndrome Through Acupuncture Combined With Herbal Medicine

Objectives:To explore the possible mechanism of acupuncture Combined with Herbal Medicine intreating perimenopausal syndrome,we observed the effect of combined with the herb of nourishing kidney and clearing away the heart fire on the acupuncture regulation and control of the estrogen, and evaluated the efficiency of the treatment in the perimenopausal syndrome through combination of acupuncture with medicine.Methods:1)Clinical observation:We collected40perimenopausal syndrome patients from Jiangsu province hospital of traditional Chinese medicine of clinical of gynaecology and acupuncture and moxibustion between September2013to January2014.Divided them randomly into medicine group and acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.Each group contains20patients.We treated patients in medicine group by the herb of nourishing kidney and clearing away the heart fire,which including:Uncaria15g coptis5g Lotus Plumule5g poria cocos lOg fushenlOg radix pseudostellariae15g light wheat30g Chinese yam10g Fructus Corni10g duanlongchi20g Cortex Albizzia10g suanzaoren1Og vine of multiflower knotweed10g radix curcumae10g chrysanthemum10g fructus lycii10g. Decoction, twice a day. The treatment course was2months.We added acupuncture treatment on the on the basis of medicine group for acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.The main points including Sanyinjiao(bilateral)、Zusanli(bilateral)、Guanyuan、Baihui、 Taichong(bilateral).Added other points on the basis of clinical symptoms.Three times a week and The treatment course was2months.At the end of experiment,we compared Kupperman index and symptom scale index which was evaluated before and after treatment to judge the clinical effect.2) Experiment research:Took10out of50rats randomly as sham-operated group and prepared the other40rats as a model of peri-menopausal syndrome.Divided rats into model group、 sham-operated group、medicine group、acupuncture group and acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.After rats model established in8days, rats in acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group was intragastric administration with concentrate of the herb of nourishing kidney and clearing away the heart fire according to lml/100g,and acupunctured the "Shenshu" and "Housanli".Once a day for10consecutive days.Acupuncture group was acupunctured the " Shenshu" and "Housanli" and medicine group was intragastric administration with concentrate of the herb of nourishing kidney and clearing away the heart fire,in the same way of acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.We observed the effect of acupuncture and herbal medicine on the uterus coefficient adrenal gland coefficient、 endometrial thickness and adjustment of the levels of estradiol、luteinizing hormone、follicle stimulating hormone of rats.And then we analyzed and compared all indexes of each group by SPSS16.0.Results:1. During the clinical treatment, compared to medicine group,the curative effect of acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.the alter of Kupperman index before and after treatment was significantly different between medicine group and acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.The acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group was better at improving physical condition.2. Experiment research showed that compared model group with sham-operated group, the uterus coefficient adrenal gland coefficient of model group was descend and the endometrial thickness was thinned. Compared with model group,the endometrial thickness of medicine group、acupuncture group and acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group was improved. The uterus coefficient、adrenal gland coefficient of acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group was improved,but not the same as medicine group and acupuncture group. The difference was not significant between medicine group and acupuncture group. Compared with sham-operated group, the lever of luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone of model group was increased. Compared with model group,the lever of luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone of medicine group、acupuncture group and acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group was declined.But the difference was not significant between medicine group、acupuncture group and acupuncture combined with herbal medicine group.Conclusions:As a method to treat peri-menopausal syndrome,acupuncture combined with herbal medicine can improve Clinical symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome and increase the levels of luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone, thicken the endometrial thickness, Relatived to merely medication treatment or acupuncture treatment.It provides a safe and efficient therapie for perimenopausal syndrome patients.
