Objective:To analyze the risk factors and characteristics of CTPA between Han and Uighur patient who with pulmonary embolism, and investigate the differences of CTPA image features and risk factors. Methods:the risk factor, anatomic distribution severity assessment and indirect signs of202Han and120Uighur patients who were tested by CTPA from2012to Jun of2013in Xinjiang medical university first affiliated hospital, were retrospectively analyzed. Results:The difference of risk factor:deep vein thrombosis and cardiac disease are the mainly risk factory of Uighur PE patient (x2=3.731,39.945; P=0.037,0.000).â‘ The difference of risk factor:deep vein thrombosis and cardiac disease are the mainly risk factory of Uighur PE patient (x2=3.731,39.945;P=0.037,0.000).(2)The difference of the anatomic distribution of pulmonary embolism in two groups did not show statistical significance(there was none pulmonary embolism of first order pulmonary artery in Uighur group, the result of second to fifth pulmonary artery x2=0.225,0.060,1.208,0.349,P=0.290,0.043,0.142,0.290);â‘¢The Severity assessment of pulmonary embolism:the difference of sub-massive and non-massive pulmonary embolism between two groups showed highly statistical significance (x2=4.604,5.442; P=0.023,0.013),and the Uighur held more opportunity in dysfunction of the right ventricular;â‘£Indirect signs of pulmonary embolism:the detection rate of dilated pulmonary artery, dilated right ventricular, pleural effusion between two groups showed highly statistical significance (x2=4.623,3.291,3.290;P=0.023,0.047,0.044). Conclusion:Deep vein thrombosis and cardiac disease are the mainly risk factory of Uighur PE patient, Uighur patient held sub-massive pulmonary embolism and dysfunction of the right ventricular more easily than Han patient.otherwise Han patient held non-massive pulmonary embolism more easily than Uighur patient. We should pay more attention to this when analyzing the characteristics of Han and Uighur pulmonary embolism by CTPA.
