The secondary metabolites of endophyte is a very important source of bioactivecompounds. Different strain possess structurally diverse metabolism with complex skeletons.By the researching currently, study of endophytic Aspergillus fumigatus is an importantbranch for studying on endophyte.Their metabolism can produce a large number of unknownnew chemical compounds, of which have good bioactivity and can be used as precursors ofthe new drug or other medicinal compounds.This paper describes the preliminary purification of Etaoc extracts in fermentationliquid from Hyacinth endophytic fungus Aspergillus fumigatus fyz0306, identification ofcompound A4, and summarizes the researches on anti-tumor activity about the A5component.The fermentation broth and it’s ethyl acetate extracts from Hyacinth “Hamlet”endophytic fungus Aspergillus fumigatus fyz0306were researched about antibacterial activityon bacillus subtilis, the detection results revealed they have strong antibacterial activity.Compounds are obtained by the means of active tracking method, silica gel columnchromatography, thin layer chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography.The structures were obtained and elucidated on the X-single crystal diffraction, NMR andMS. The results as follows: p-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (S299-364C) and p-Methoxyphenoxyacetic acid (S86-94D)12groups of A5were researched for cytotoxic activities on the human hepatomacells (SMMC7721) and human cervical cancer cells (Hela) by MTT method. The results asfollows:A5-5D and A5-20B presented obvious anti-tumor action on cancer cells, their IC50are38.32μg/mL and56.27μg/mL, respectively. The inhibition rate on Hela about A5-20B,A5-21A, A5-5C are45.56%,42.27%and24.26%, respectively. While the other componentson Hela cells were not revealed the effect of antitumor. These constituents were notdisplayed antitumor on human hepatoma cells (SMMC7721) in3.125-100μg/mL.
