Objective Analysestheinfluencingfactorsofosteoporosisinelderlypeople..Methods Through the analysises on728old patients, who from the section for outpatients inaffiliated hospital to Tianjin Armed Police Logistics College from September,2012to May,2013,andtheresult ofbonedensitymeasurementofLumbarspine,proximalleftfemurandwardtrianglewith the use of DXA. Meanwhile, gathering the related information through self-designedquestionairesabout patients’ basic healthycondition. Amongthe703cases,303cases, whichwereconfirmed with osteoporosis, were chosed as the case group, and the other400cases, which werenot confirmed, as the contrast group. Besides, through the use of date base of Office Excel,SPSS13.0,ChisquaretestandMultivariateLogisticregressionanalysis togathertheinformationofmainly influencial factors of osteoporosisinelderlypeople.Results The results of different methods:1the result of Chi square test showed: osteoporosis inelderly people was related to age, gender, education, use of calcium, the family history ofhumpback or bone and joint, present illness, history of peptic ulcer, smoking, drinking alcohol,drinkingteaorcoffee, thecurrentbodymassindex(BMI),present conditonofteethandthetimeofmenarcheandmenopauseinfemale,etc,andthedifferencesweresignificant(P<0.05).2theresultof Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed: osteoporosis in elderly people was related toage, education, use of calcium, time of menopause in female, smoking, drinking tea, the currentBMIandpresentteethcondition(P<0.05).Conclusion Age,education, maritalstatus,theuseofcalcium,thefamily historyofhumpbackorbone and joints, time of menopause in female, smoking, drinking tea, the current BMI and theconditionof teeth were associatedwithosteoporosis. Theelderly people would havea highrisk ofosteoporosis if he had advanced age, widowedor divorced, fracturehistory, family history ofbonedesease, early time of menopause (in female), habit of smoking, lower body mass index or teethloose; highly education, calcium supplements, habit of drinking tea could be the protection ofosteoporosisfortheelderlypeople.
