| Objective:Analysing consist of the bacteria in the nasal of patients with fungal rhino-sinusitis, and finding its correlation with FRS. METHODS:The secretion taken from the maxillary hiatus of 31 patients during the functional endoscopic sinus surgery were cultured and identified for bacteria. At the same time, in the control group, the secretion from the maxillary hiatus or the middle nasal meatus that closed to the maxillary hiatus from the other side of the nasal cavity was also cultured for bacteria. Besides, totally 25 cases of nasal septum deviation patients or nasal vestibular cyst patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery were collected as normal control group.Result:Among the 31cases, bacterial growth found in 21 cases, the total positive rate of bacterial was 67.7% (21/31),16 different kinds of bacterial were cultured in 48 colonies. In experimental group, bacterial growth in 20 cases(64.5% ,20/31), single bacterial were found grew in 17 cases and mixed bacterial were found grew in the 3 cases, and 14 different kinds of bacterial were cultured, the major bacterial were Staphylococcus epidermidis 5 (21.7%) and Staphylococcus aureus 4 (17.4%). In the control group, bacterial grew in 17 cases(64.5%,20/31), single bacterial were found grew in 9 cases (29.0%,9/31) and mixed bacterial were found grew in the 8 cases, there were 10 different kinds of bacterial were cultured, the major Bacterial were Staphylococcus epidermidis 7 (28%), Bacillus 4 (16%), Coryne bacterium parvum 3(12.0%). In the normal group, bacterial grew in 15 cases(60.0%,15/25), single bacterial were found grew in 11 cases (44.0%,11/25) and mixed bacterial were found grew in the 4 cases (16.0%,4/25), there were 8 different kinds of bacterial were cultured, the major Bacterial were Staphylococcus epidermidis 7 (36.8%), Bacillus subtilis 5 (20.0%). Bilateral nasal cavity showed bacterial growth in 16 cases (51.6%,16/31) and no bacterial growth in 10 cases (32.3%,10/31). The single bacteria isolation rate of the experimental group was higher than the control group. The bacteria isolation rate and the mixed bacteria isolation rate of the three groups was no difference. (P>0.05)Mainly bacterial species composing of the experimental group:G+ Staphylococcusã€G-bacillus and G+ Streptococcus, both the two control groups were G+Staphylococcus-. G-bacillus and G+bacillus, the three groups of Bacterial species was consistent. (P>0.05)The constituent ratio of conditional pathogenic bacteria in the experimental group was 73.9%(17/23), which was 44%(11/25) in the control group and 36.8%(7/19) in the normal control group. The experimental group was composed mainly by conditional pathogenic bacteria. (P<0.05)Conclusion:â‘ The micro ecological is flora imbalance in the diseased paranasal sinus with FRS, and was composed mainly by conditional pathogenic bacteria; â‘ There was similar that the distribution of bacteria in the diseased paranasal sinus between FRS patients and chronic purulent nasosinusitis patients, so we speculated that FRS may be associated with chronic purulent nasosinusitis; â‘¢ the diseased paranasal sinus of FRS patients is lack of Non-pathogenic bacteria group, considering fungus and Non-pathogenic bacteria antagonistic to each other. |
