| ObjectiveObserved the treatment of the PFNA-â…¡and InterTan nails for intertroc hanteric fractures, contrast and analysis the pros and cons of each, prov ide a basis for clinical treatment room in the fixation of intertrochante ric fractures.MethodsA retrospective analysis of the orthopedic in the First Affiliated Ho spital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine between March 2011-20 14 June.39 cases were treated with PFNA-â…¡and InterTan nails for intertro chanteric fractures.22 patients in PFNA line, the other 17 cases for Int ertan nails. Analysis of the two groups of hospital stay, operative time, blood loss, incision length, postoperative drainage, postoperative blood transfusion, postoperative weight-bearing time, fracture healing time, c omplications and Harris hip score, the application SPSS19.0 statistical s oftware for data analysis.ResultsThe statistical analysis of baseline data (age, gender, fracture typ e) in two groups, P>0.05, the difference was not statistically significa nt. Comparing two groups of hospital stay, operative time, blood loss, inc ision length, weight-bearing after surgery, postoperative drainage, fract ure healing time, the operative time (P=0.019), incision length (P=0. 027), postoperative drainage (P=0.025) in the P values were less than 0. 05, with statistical significance, InterTan group with long operation tim e, a large incision, postoperative drainage more compared with PFNA-II.Fo r the incidence of postoperative complications, urinary tract infection i n one patient, one case of severe respiratory infection, fixation failure in one patient,1 case of hip turn, the overall incidence of 18.18%(4/ 22); InterTan group appeared one case of deep vein thrombosis, urinary t ract infection in one case, the overall incidence rate was 11.76%(2/17). By the x2 test, P=0.000<0.05, the PFNA-II group with higher rate of in cidence of postoperative complications. During patients hospitalized, fiv e cases in PFNA-â…¡ group of transfusion with a rate 22.73%(5/22) and sev en cases in InterTan group with a rate 41.18%(7/17). By x2 test,.P value of 0.001<0.05 statistically significant, the InterTan group with higher postoperative transfusion rate. Harris hip function scores between the two groups, PFNA-â…¡ group average score 83.16, InterTan group average score 84.00, the independent samples t test P value was 0.747> 0.05, two groups was not statistically significant.ConelusionCompared with InterTan nail, PFNA-â…¡ have shorter operative time, a sm all incision, less postoperative drainage, the advantages of low postoper ative blood transfusion, but PFNA-â…¡ nail postoperative complications com pared with InterTan more. Both have good biomechanical properties and sig nificant effect in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures. |
