| ObjectiveThis subject is mainly based on the research of Chinese and Western medicine on the knowledge and treatment development of primary periarthritis of shoulder as the premise, by using the random test comparison study method, through studying efficacy in the treatment of balance acupuncture and ordinary acupuncture respectively used for primary periarthritis of shoulder, and the results would statistically analyzed, in order to further clarify the clinical curative effect and the advantage of balance acupuncture on treating primary periarthritis of shoulder, to provide a method of quick effect,less pain, safe on clinical treating of primary periarthritis of shoulder.MethodsA study using single blind random of prospective study, collects qualified cases strictly according to the related standard.60 cases of primary periarthritis of shoulder were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group for comparative study, during clinical observation period two groups receive cupping therapy each another day before acupuncture treatment, and treatment group receive balance acupuncture therapy, the control group use common acupuncture treatment as controlled study. Two groups all use VAS score and Constant-murley score of shoulder joint function scale before and after treatment, to observe shoulder pain, activity, muscle strength and impact on ability of daily life of patients improved or not.ResultsBy using of VAS score and Constant-murley score of shoulder joint function scale to analysis the curative effect of treatment group and control group. Before treatment, age, course of disease, gender, VAS and Constant-murley scores of two groups of patients were tested by statistical software, All P values were more than 0.05, showing no statistically significant, comparable. Two groups were respectively compared by t test before and after the treatment, the difference of every index in two groups were statistically significant, all P values were less than 0.05, showing two methods both can significantly improve the patients with VAS score and Constant-murley score, the two methods significantly curative effect to primary periarthritis on analgesia and improving joint function etc.The VAS scores of two groups after treatment were compared by t test (P< 0.05), there was statistical significance, indicating the analgesic effect of treatment group better than control group. After treatment the Constant-murley scores of two groups were compared by t test, there were differences in pain scores (P<0.05), while there were no significant differences between the scores of ability of daily life, joint activity and muscle strength, P values all were greater than 0.05. The overall effects of two groups was compared by the rank test.no significant differences (P>0.05), indicating that the overall effects of two groups is equal, but the overall efficiency was higher than control maybe due to not enough sample size. During treatment, the adverse events of two groups were compared by rank test (P<0.05), with statistical significance, in clinical application balance acupuncture treatment is significantly safer than ordinary acupuncture.ConclusionThe preliminary results show ordinary acupuncture and balance acupuncture both have certain effect in treating primary periarthritis of shoulder, but through clinical observation and statistical analysis, in terms of the overall effect, balance acupuncture has the equal effect with ordinary acupuncture, but in reducing the pain of patients the effect of balance acupuncture is significantly better than ordinary acupuncture and it is safer than ordinary acupuncture in clinical application, its understanding and treatment of disease more lay stress on the features of holistic concept of traditional Chinese medicine. Therefore, in treating primary periarthritis of shoulder balance acupuncture compared with ordinary acupuncture, with distinct clinical curative effect, using less acupoints, and in reducing the pain and clinical safety are better than ordinary acupuncture. |
