| ObjectiveTo evaluate the education efficacy of intensive care medicine nursing students in Higher vocational colleges nursing profession direction. In order to explore an effective training programme of specialist nurses in intensive care medicine, for nursing specialty in higher vocational college talent cultivation for reference. Providing references for talents cultivation of nursing specialty in higher vocational colleges. MethodsA total of 200 nursing students form 2011 grade 2 classes of ICU nursing professional in Henan Medical College as the observation group;Adopt the method of stratified sampling in nursing professional 9 class, per shift from 30-35, a total of 200 students as control group. To study clinical ability, professional knowledge and skill evaluation in three aspects, the use of spss17.0 for data analysis, statistical methods used are paired sample t test,Pearson correlation, χ 2 test. Results1. Compiled a college nursing students clinical competene questionnaire, the questionnaire of clinical ability part by seven dimensions, 38 items.2. The comparison of self-evaluation in clinical ability,the observation group total score was 163.24 ± 14.72, the control group total score was 161.28 ± 16.69,t=1.130,P=0.259; The teacher evaluation in two groups,the observation group total score was 157.64 ± 14.50,the control group total score was 156.17 ± 17.96,t=0.827,P=0.409 self-evaluation and teacher evaluation review all P>0.05, the overall evaluations of ICU college nursing students clinical competene and ordinary college nursing students clinical ability have no difference.3. In the evaluation of clinical competence of each dimension, in clinical management capacity,teacher evaluation results that the observation group scores 56.09 ± 7.04, the control group scores 54.37 ± 8.62,t=2.006,p=0.046; P<0.05, ICU college nurses slightly higher than the ordinary nursing students in clinical management capacity. No significant difference of other dimensions. Each dimension in self-evaluation showed no statistically significant difference.4.In the evaluation of clinical ability items, ICU college nursing students clinical ability in terms of self-evaluation and the teacher evaluation, observing ability, found the nursing problem ability, ability to guide nursing plan, implementing with rescue ability, emergency response capacity and critical thinking ability are higher than the ordinary college nursing students; In teacher evaluation, items management ability of ICU college nursing students and their self-awareness are lower than ordinary college nursing students.5.Professional knowledge and skill of ICU college nursing students and ordinary college nursing students score all P > 0.05, there are no statistically significant difference. ConclusionsOverall ICU college nursing students in clinical competene, professional knowledge, skills, is no difference between ordinary nursing students. But ICU college nurseing students observing ability, found the nursing problem ability, ability to guide nursing plan, implementing with rescue ability, emergency response capacity and critical thinking ability that ICU nurses should have professional ability is higher than ordinary college nursing students.There is helpful for nursing students after graduation to work in time. Shorten the time of intensive care medicine nurses training, Achieve the the desired purpose of intensive care medicine nursing students. But items management ability of ICU college nursing students and their self-awareness are lower than ordinary college nursing students, need to be improved in the future teaching. |
