Objective:Detecting glucose regulatory proteins 78 (glucose-regulated protein 78, GRP78 protein) in the expression in children with neuroblastoma and neuroblastoma the relationship between the occurrence, development, may be in for clinical treatment and prognosis judgment related role.Methods:This study collect, sort out the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university pediatric surgery from January 2008 to October 2014 after surgical resection and 26 cases of neuroblastoma, which was confirmed by pathology and adjacent tissue section 13 cases. Using the immunohistochemical PV method (two step) detection of GRP78 protein in neuroblastoma and expression in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma. SPSS 19.0 using statistical software package for statistical analysis of GRP78 protein in children with neuroblastoma organization of the relationship between the expression and its clinical parameters.Results:Neuroblastoma group is significantly higher than the proportion of GRP78 protein positive cells in tissue adjacent to carcinoma (P< 0.05). In 26 cases of neuroblastoma organization GRP78 protein positive expression rate was 80.77% (21/26),13 cases of tissue adjacent to carcinoma of GRP78 protein positive expression rate was 38.46% (5/13); Tissue adjacent to carcinoma with neuroblastoma group between the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05). No lymph node metastasis of GRP78 in neuroblastoma organization positive expression rate of 55.55%, neuroblastoma with lymph node metastasis tissues of GRP78 protein positive expression rate of 88.24%. Results showed that protein GRP78 in neuroblastoma with lymph node metastasis in the organization expression is significantly higher than without lymph node metastasis of neuroblastoma, statistically significant difference (P< 0.05), suggesting increased GRP78 protein expression is associated with lymph node metastasis. At the same time, the expression of GRP78 protein with neuroblastoma with gender, age, there was no obvious correlation bone marrow metastasis (P> 0.05).Conclusion:GRP78 protein in neuroblastoma cells in the present high expression, which is lower expression in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma. The expression of GRP78 protein is associated with the lymph node metastasis of neuroblastoma, which has nothing to do with the patient’s age, gender, bone marrow metastasis. This study suggests that GRP78 protein may be involved in the occurrence and development of neuroblastoma and lymph node metastasis process.
