Abstract/Summary:
Maternal and children’s health is related to the development of our country and the future of the nation, and is a vital part of the health issue in China. Maternal and children’s health is an important goal of health reform and development. The under-five mortality and maternal mortality have already been seen as the basis for health development and population health indicators in the international community.Maternal and children’s health is a vital part of our health industry in the country, maternal and children’s health care institutions are series of public health and non-profit public institutions which are organized by government, and are professional institution which Women and children will have access to the service of basic public health and specialized medical services. As a kind of special resource, human resource has certain skills and knowledge; it can provide service which human needs and producing all kinds of products. It plays a key role in the development of all organizations. It is seen as the basic power and the primary strategic resource, and is the key to maintaining and strengthening its functions.This thesis consists of three parts:introduction, body (four chapters) and conclusion, and analyzes existing problems and their causes in maternal and children’s health care institutions in Tongliao city, and explores some countermeasures. In the thesis, the author pays attention to degree, professional title, age, ethnic structure of health professional and technical personnel. The main problems in health care institution include:The number of personnel is not enough, the hierarchical structure is non-reasonable, management is limited. The causes could be concluded to following reasons:the lack of attention to the maternal and children’s health care industry, the absence of government management and policy measures. According to the problems and causes mentioned above, this author advised 3 countermeasures:firstly, to accelerate the development of new standards to follow the development of maternal and child health care institutions; secondly, government should make more investigation into this industry so as to build up a new environment which is good for its development; thirdly, continue to strengthen human resource construction of maternal and children’ s health organization.
