Study Of Medication Law And External Therapies For Skin Cancer In Ancient TCM Literature

ObjectiveThe subject is about the study on ancient TCM literature of the skin cancer. We tried to reveal the principle and methods of the ancient treatment of skin cancer with the scientific analysis, and to explore the relationship between the treatment of modern TCM and ancient TCM. We aimed to provide new measures for the clinic and scientific research for skin cancer.MethodsWe collected the TCM prescriptions from "Chinese Medical Classics" to find out the formula, the efficacy, the reference source and the originated dynasty of TCM treatment for skin cancer. We tried to get the important data and establish the database to analyze the characteristic treatment of different dynasty.Results1. The data of treatment for skin cancer on TCM ancient literature from the"Chinese Medical Classics" were collected in this subject, we collected 114 prescriptions,66 internal prescriptions,48 external prescriptions. The internal prescriptions including 22 decoction prescriptions, accounted for 33.33%,16 powder prescriptions, accounted for 24.24%, the decoction and powder prescriptions accounted for 57.57% of the oral prescriptions, the external prescriptions were mostly the powder prescriptions, accounted for 62.50%.2. In this subject, we found 221 kinds of herbal medicine with 1902 times of frequency of drug used. Especially we found that the mostly used herbs were the tonic drugs, the antipyretic drugs, the diaphoretic drugs, the blood circulating and activating drugs, the insecticidal antipruritic drugs, the qi-regulating drugs, the cathartics drugs etc., the total frequency was 1271, accounted for 66.82%. Among them, the tonic drugs were the mostly used, the frequency was 282, accounted for 14.83%. The above herbs were mostly used for the treatment of skin cancer.3. We tried to distinguish the frequency of drugs used by different dynasty, including the Qing Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty, the Song and the Yuan Dynasties and the Han Sui and Tang Dynasties, of which the Ming Dynast is the highest in application of frequency, which frequency accounted for 69.19%, Qing Dynasty ranked in second which were accounted for 60.63%.Conclusion1. Ancient physicians treating skin cancer treatment of the top three were the tonic, antipyretic, relieving drugs.2. Type and frequency of use of drugs up to the Qing Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty, Qing tonic medicine for treating skin cancer, supplemented antipyretic, awareness of skin cancer due to illness in the vacuity, focusing on strengthening the foundation. Ming antipyretic treatment of skin cancer in both medicine and tonic for skin cancer due to illness was false is mixed.3. External dosage forms to the most topical powders, mainly in the main application methods.
