| Objective:Study of different obstruction plane on obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome in children.Methods:A total of 313 children with OSAHS were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 with tonsil hypertrophy only and Group 2 with adenoidal hypertrophy only, group 3 with tonsil and adenoid hypertrophy. The effect of different obstruction planes on OSAHS was analyzed. In group 1 and group 2 the effect of different BMI in different obstruction planes on OSAHS was analyzed.Results:The apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) there are no difference in 3 groups, lowest oxygen saturation(LSa02),≥3%oxygendcrease index (≥ 3 %ODI) have the statistical differences in 3 groups. The apnea-hypopnea index (AHI)ã€lowest oxygen saturation (LSaO2),≥3%oxygendcrease index (63%ODI)>ã€there are no difference in Group 2 under the different BMI, they have the statistical differences in group 1.Conclusion:The nasopharyngeal obstruction by adenoid hypertrophy is the major factor to influence OSAHS, and tonsil hypertrophy with adenoid hypertrophy can give more effect on oxygendcrease.The obesity can give more effect on oxygendcrease in tonsil hypertrophy children with OSAHS. |
