Objectives:To explore the potential relationship the rs13266634 polymorphism of TCF7L2 gene linked to T2DM on Chinese people. Methods:The study population was divided into two groups:the T2DM group(n=116) and the control group (n=126). Using PCR-SSCP(single strand conformation polymorphism) and direct sequencing technique separately to genotype each group. Results:The age、BMI、triglyceride、low-density lipoprotein、high-density lipoprotein in the T2DM group and the control group no significant difference(P>0.05); but between the glycosylated hemoglobin、systolic blood pressure、diastolic blood pressure、FBG2-hour post-meal blood glucose and total cholesterol had significant difference(P<0.05); the frequency of rs13266634 polymorphism of TCF7L2 gene in the T2DM group and the control group are the:the TT genotype is 20.7% and 28.6%;the CT genotype is 48.6% and 42.1%;the CC genotype is 30.6% and 29.4%.there is have no significant difference,P>0.05.rs13266634 polymorphism of TCF7L2 gene between two groups are conform to Hardy-Weinberg balance law. After use the Logistic regression rectify the factors as age、BMI、sex, there is have no significant difference between two groups rs13266634 polymorphism of TCF7L2 gene and T2DM.Conclusion:There is have no correlation between the rs13266634 polymorphism of TCF7L2 gene and T2DM in the Xinjiang Han race nationality。...
