| Objective:By systematic sorting and standardized clinical research, this paper aims to objectively evaluate the clinical therapeutic effects and safety of treating cervical-type cervical osteoarthritis by pressing-vibrating the “three lines of neckâ€, so as to improve technical specifications and provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of cervical-type cervical osteoarthritis with Tuina manipulations. Methods:60 cases of cervical-type cervical spondylosis were randomly and equally divided into an experimental group(treated by pressing-vibrating the “three lines of neckâ€) and a control group(treated by traditional manipulations). Both groups were treated once a day and seven days as a course. There was a two-day rest between the first and the second course. A conclusion was made after two courses.NPQ and the VAS method were used to evaluate the cervical type integrals of the two groups respectively before treatment and two courses after treatment, and a statistical analysis was performed, observing the improvement of cervical symptoms of the two groups according to score table for signs of patients with cervical-type cervical spondylosis and making a clinical effect assessment of the two groups after treatment according to Standards for Diagnosis and Efficacy in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Results:1 Curative effects: In the experimental group, 24 cases were cured, 5 cases were markedly effective, and 1 case ineffective, the recovery rate being 80% and the total efficiency being 96.67%; while in the control group, 14 cases were cured, 11 cases were markedly effective, and 5 cases were ineffective, the recovery rate being 46.67% and the total effective rate being 83.33%. According to the statistical analysis P=0.000(P< 0.05), the difference of curative effect between the two groups was statistically significant.2. Comparison between groups: The NPQ score, VAS scores of pain and neck symptom and sign scores of the two groups before treatment had no significant differences(P>0.05). After two courses of treatment, the NPQ total score of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, P=0.007(P<0.05). According to the VAS pain scores of the two groups, the sense of pain of the experiment group was lower than that of the control group, P=0.013(P<0.05). According to the scores of pain and neck symptom, the experimental group was better than the control group, P=0.014(P<0.05).3. Comparison within groups: The differences of NPQ total score, VAS scores and the scores of symptom and sign within groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05), which showed that both treatment methods effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with cervical-type cervical spondylosis. Conclusion:1. Clinical symptoms such as neck pain and discomfort of the two groups significantly improved after treatment.2. The experimental group was better than the control group after treatment in NPQ, VAS and neck symptom and sign scores.3. Pressing-vibrating the “three lines of neck†method had a better therapeutic effect than traditional manipulations in the treatment of cervical-type cervical osteoarthritis.4. It provided a new therapeutic schedule for the treatment of cervical-type cervical osteoarthritis, and also provided a new treatment idea for other types of cervical osteoarthritis, which could be used as a major method in the clinical treatment of cervical osteoarthritis. |
