| Objective: To explore curative effect of carotid endarterectomy(CEA) in differ ent operation time for symptomatic carotid artery stenosis(SCAS). Methods: The clinical data of 107 cases with CEA operation were collected from 2008 January to 2014 December in the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medi cal University, were retrospectively analyzed, according to the operation time, preop erative stroke, transient ischemic attack(TIA)or myocardial infarction(MI) patients w ere grouped in different teams, with 4w, 2w the time period for the segmentation points, and comparison the postoperative complications of postoperative stroke recur rence rate or mortality, postoperative hyperperfusion syndrome of different groups. Results: The observation indexes of postoperative stroke recurrence rate or mortalit y and postoperative hyperperfusion syndrome of SCAS patients in different timingo f CEA surgery were not statistically significant(P>0.05). The statistical analysis was no significant difference(P>0.05) in different operation time for SCAS patients wit h different preoperative complications. Conclusion: Through a comparative analysis of different timing of CEA surgery, th e operation risk of patients with symptomatic carotid stenosis of early operation tea m is not higher than the advanced opration group. Preoperative complications have little effect for operation time. In clinical work, we should strictly control the sur gical indications, combined with the patient’s condition into account, as much as p ossible early surgery. |
