Objective:To access the clinical effect of therapying the children Class III malocclusion on the bong with mini-implant Anchorage. Methods: Collecting 29 patients treated with mini-implant Anchorage(A group,10) and facemask appliance(B group,19) individually in the second hospital affiliated Xinjiang Medical University during 2013 Measuring the lateral cephalometric radiographs and models of SNA, SNB, ANB, SND, Wits value, FMA, IMPA, U1-L1, U1-SN, upper facial height(N-ANS), lower facial height(NAS-Me), NLA, SN-MP, SN-PP, ULP, LLP, the models of maxillary dental arch width(including forepart, midpiece, posteriori part), the length of the lower jaw before treatment, after the first month, the third month and the treatment. Results:(1)There were significant difference of SNA, ANB, Wits value, of two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01), and the after results are higher than the before results; There were significant difference of SNB, SND of the mini-implant group before and after treatment(P<0.01),and the after results are lower than the before results,There were no difference of SNB, SND of the facemask appliance group before and after treatment(P>0.05),and the after results are lower than the before results;(2)There were no difference of SNA between the two groups during the treatment and the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group; There were significant difference of ANB, Wits value between the two groups during the treatment(P<0.05) and the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group;and There were no difference of ANB between the two groups during the treatment(P>0.05) and the mini-implant group are lower than the facemask appliance group.(3)There were significant difference of SNB(the values of the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group), ANB(the values of the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group), Wits(the values of the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group) value between the different values of two groups after the treatment(P<0.05). There were no difference of SNA(the values of the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group), SND(the values of the mini-implant group are higher than the facemask appliance group) between the different values of two groups after the treatment(P>0.05). Conclusions: Compared the facemask appliance, the mini-implant anchorage have the better effect of the relationship between the maxillary bone and mandibular bone and The patients have the better compliance. However, there is existence of venture of the mini-implant Anchorage falling off.
