Objective:To investigate the expression profiles of micro RNA-138^ microRNA-720 in HPV16 relewant cervical squamous cell carcinoma Methods:The expression of HPV16 in 103 cases Uigur and 82 cases Han cervical squamous cell carcinoma was detected by the technology of agarose gel electrophoresis. The expression of miR-138 and miRNA-720 was detected by real—time polymerase chain reaction in 103 Uighurs and 82 Han patients who with cervical squamous cell carcinoma,40 Uighurs and 40 Han patients who with normal cervical tissue. Results:The expression of miRNA-138 and miRNA-720 was lower in cervical squamous cell carcinoma than the normal cervical. The expression levels of microRNA-138 and microRNA-720 in HPV16 positive cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues group started to cut compared to the HPV16 negative group, however,it also wasn’t significant(P>0.05). In the group of Uighurs,,down-regulated miRNA-138 and miRNA-720 lead to vascular invasion and lymph node metastasis, the expression of miRNA-720 has relationship with clinical stage and tumor size (P<0.05). In the group of Han patients, there was no significant the relative expression of miR-138 and miR-720 in different age, clinical stage, tumor size, different interstice invasion depth, different vessel invasion and if there is lymph node metastasis (P> 0.05)..compaired with Han patients, the expression of miRNA-720 was lower in Uighurs.but the relative expression of miR-138 has no difference (P>0.05). Conclusions:The expression of miRNA-720 has difference both in Uyghur nationality and ethnic Han’s cervical squamous cell carcinoma. And then the expression of miRNA-720 in Uyghurs’was lower than in Han’s. The expression of miR-138 and miRNA-720 has relationship with the factors of metastasis and invasion, but has no relationship with HPV16.
