Study On The Theoretical Origin And Development Of Tcm Etiology And Pathogenesis About Damp Turbidity

The Etiology and Pathogenesis theory of damp turbidity could traced back to the“Yellow Emperor’s Canon of internal medicine”.The theory of wet wasearl-iest mentio ned in nineteen items of pathogenesis in“Su Wen Zhi Zhen Yao DaLun”.Related discu ssions about wet muddy, scattered in various articles of Nei Jing,widely involved etiolo gy,pathogenesis,treatment,prescription.The ancient physi-cians’ studies more emphasis the pathogenic of wet and treatment.The wet as the yin pathogen,characterized by heavine ss and turbidity,viscosity and stagnation.It is easy to attact yin portion of body and m ay injure yang. Later ancientphysi-cians focused on the properties and pathogenic char acteristics when they investi-gated the pathogenic of damp turbidity,they often take huai shi and zaoshi and lishias therapeutic methods.Therefore, to explore the pathogenesis the ory of damp turbidity of themedical practioners in past ages, still need further improve ment and perfection.In this paper, with the clue of time and discussion of dampness theory of suc-cessiv e dynasties in related works,the content involves causes,pathogenesis, clini-cal characteris tics,diagnosis key point, treatment method, prescription and etc. Toanalyze the progressio n of wet chaotic theory by studying the findings of the medical practioners in past ag es,combined with studying relevant articles of wetmuddy in Huang Di Nei Jing, to ex plore the mutually conversion mechanism of wet muddy and to explain spleen is one of the most important causes of w-et muddy. From the comparison of wet and muddy,c ombing the different natureand characteristic between them,clearing path-ogenesis and c haracteristic of wetmuddy,which can provide a theoretical basis for guiding clinical dia gnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.
