The Clinical Observation Of Modified Guifudihuani Decoction On Treating Hypothyroidism Caused By Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Guifudihuang Decoction ontreating hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto’s thyroiditis，in order to explore effectiveideas and methods for the disease of treatment.Methods:60patients diagnosed hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto’s thyroiditiswere divided into two groups randomly. On the basis of low iodine and low calorie diet,30patients were given L-T4as control group, whereas others were given modifiedGuifudihuang Decoction at the same time as observed group. We mainly observed theclinical symptoms before and after treatment, the main laboratory index (FT3, FT4, TSH,TPOAb, TgAb) changes of curative effect and reduction of enlarged thyroid of two groupsof cases.Results: Patients in the observed group improved better than that in control group inclinical symptoms，thyroid function and controlling antibody TPOAb and TgAb and inreducing the goiter. And no adverse reaction was found in the whole process ofobservation.Conclusions: Modified Guifudihuang Decoction has a certain curative effect andless adverse reaction on treating hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto’s thyroiditis,turning out to be an effective prescription for the treatment of the disease. It reflects thesignificance of this method on the treatment of the disease, which deserves furtherresearch and discussion.
