This paper first discusses the relevant concepts, hazardous, drug resistance, mechanism of drug resistance, resistance characteristics, detection methods and the research status at home and abroad on the staphylococcus aureus. And then using the gram stain, separation of culture, biochemical tests and drug sensitive test methods, to study the patients of different departments in YiChun people’s hospital,the resultsshow that the statistical results of Staphylococcus aureus in the twenty nine months,there were714strains of S.aureus isolated,Staphylococcus aureus mainly comefrom sputum samples,accounted for63.6%; according to the distribution ofdepartments,respiratory department of internal medicine has the absolute advantage,48.6%, and followed by department of neurosurgery,27.1%;506strains ofmethicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) were detected. MRSA in theyears January2012~May2014detection rate showed an increasing trend year byyear.Through the sensitive test, through Staphylococcus aureus to15kinds ofantibiotics, that all the S.aureus strains were sensitive tovancomycin, but showed varying degrees of resistance to other antimicrobialagents, so we should increase the monitoring efforts to Staphylococcus aureus, inorder to delay the drugs resistance of S.aureus.
