| Objective:To observe the clinical effects and safety of zhi shi xiao pi wan modification with diet modification in treating irritable bowel syndrome-constipation with Spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation syndrome, confirmed Chinese medicine treating this kind of chronic illness’s treatment superiority, and afford methods of treatment for alleviating the sufferings and improving the living quality of the patients.Methods:The75patients with irritable bowel syndrome-constipation (Spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation syndrome) from Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM and Gastroscope room of Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital were randomly divided into control groupã€treatment group and,herbal group.25patients each. The general information and previous accumulated scores of syptom among three groups of cases are basiciy the same. By statistical processed, there is no significant difference of meaning among three groups,so the three groups can be comparabled. The treatment group was treated with zhi shi xiao pi wan with diet, and the control group was treated with Tegaserod Maleate Tablets, The herbal group was treated with zhi shi xiao pi wan. The course of treatment was four weeks. Then makes the objective curative effect appraisal with the statistical method to three group of patient’s treatment results, adverse effect of the three methods, and evaluate the safty. Evaluate recurrence rate after followed up three months.Results:(1) The total effective rate of the treatment group, the control group and the herbal group is96%,60%and92%respectively. The totol curative effect among the control group,the treatment group and the herbal group all have prominent difference(p<0.05), The treatment group and the herbal group is superior to control group; The totol curative effect between the treatment group and herbal groupdoes not has prominent difference(p<0.05), The treatment group is superior to the herbal group.(2)The improvement of several clinical symptom among the control group, the treatment group and the herbal group all have prominent difference(p<0.05), The treatment group and the herbal group is superior to control group;The improvement of primary clinical symptom between the treatment group and the herbal group has significant differences(p<0.05),and the treatementl group is superior to the herbal group, The improvement of collywobbles and minor clinical symptom between the treatment group and the herbal group has no significant differences(p>0.05),and The treatment group equate with the herbal group.(3)There is no adverse reaction among the treatment group,control group and herbal group.(4) forward curative effect observation demonstrated:the recurrence rate of the treatment group, the control group and the herbal group is16.7%,66.7%and30.4%respectively. The recurrence rate among the control group, the treatment group and the herbal group all have prominent difference(p<0.05), The treatment group or the herbal group is superior to control group;The recurrence rate between the treatment group and herbal groupdoes not has prominent difference(p>0.05), The treatment group equate with the herbal group.Conclusion:zhi shi xiao pi wan with diet modification in treating irritable bowel syndrome-constipation with Spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation syndrome, has a remarkable curative effect, reduced patient’s indisposition, Improve Life Quality, curative effect, lower recurrence, And good safety, so is worth promoting. |
