Objective:Retrospective analysis of intraoperative neural electrophysiologicalmonitoring to idiopathic facial spasm the operative efficacy ofmicrovascular decompression and the effect of postoperativecomplications. Methods:Choose between December2010and December2010in our hospital microvascular decompression surgery treatment of163patientswith idiopathic facial spasm (HFS), December2010-December2010,73patients with facial spasm were treated as the control group(no electrophysiological monitoring intraoperative), January2013-December201490cases of patients with facial spasm as monitoring group (BAEP (boc/LSR/FN MEP monitoring), the comparative analysis of two groups of decompression surgery postoperative efficient and hearing loss, dizziness, facial paralysis and other complications. Results:Respectively on two groups of patients after treatment, the immediate monitoring group significant efficiency is52.55%(47cases), minor facial paralysis1.11%(1case), hearing loss, dizziness,5.56%(5cases); Postoperative follow-up of6to12months, an average of9.6months, facial paralysis, hearing loss, and dizziness were significantly improved, the operation show the efficiency of65.56%(59cases); Immediately show efficiency as the control group (22cases)30.14%, minor facial paralysis13.69%(10cases), hearing loss, dizzines s,23.29%(n=17); Postoperative follow-up of6to12months, an average of9.6months, facial paralysis, hearing loss, and dizziness were significantly improved, the operation efficiency of64.38%(47cases). Difference of immediate surgery in the two groups have statistical significance (p<0.05), a monitoring group was better than control group; The long-term curative effect is not significant difference(p>0.05). Two groups of facial paralysis, hearing loss and the incidence of complications such as dizziness differences statistically significant (p<0.05), the monitoring group is better than the control group. Conclusions:LSR monitoring can improve facial nerve microvascular decompression surgery in the near future curative effect and significance forthe long-term curative effect is not obvious, but the art of boc BAEP, LSR and FN MEP monitoring identification and judgment, timely judgment on responsibility vascular decompression effect, surfaceprotection, the auditory nerve is of great significance.
