Everypatient will be treated for4courses, a course of1week. The doctor willcompare the knee VAS scores and WOMAC scores of the patients after treatmentwith before. Results:1. Comparation of clinical effect: The total effectiverate of the treatment group is90%, which of the control group is95%. Theclinical effect of the two groups is not significantly different(P>0.05).2. Comparation of knee VAS scores: The knee VAS scores of all patients issignificantly decreased after treatment(P<0.01). The decreasement of thetwo groups is not significantly different(P>0.05).3. Comparation of kneeWOMAC scores: The knee WOMAC scores of all patients is significantlydecreased after treatment(P<0.01). The decreasement of the two groups is not significantly different(P>0.05).4. No adverse event occurred duringthe clinical test. Conclusions: Herbs-separated Umbilical Moxibustion canobviously relieve the knee pain and improve the function of knee.Herbs-separated Umbilical Moxibustion is a safe, easy, and effectivetreatment for KOA, worth further research and extension.
