Objective:To develop an efficient, intuitive and easy to use management software for the data collection and statistics of therapeutic drug monitoring and genetic polymorphism detection, as well as information transmission and business communication between Qilu Hospital and collaboration hospitals.Methods:Combined with the ongoing workflow of irinotecan polymorphism detection, using B/S(Browser/Server) architecture and PHP as the programming language, based on PHPCMS framework, flexible use of JavaScript scripting language, html and css style sheets, conduct the design and development of Therapeutic drug monitoring and Genetic polymorphism detection Management System (TGMS).Results:(1) Completed the basic framework building of TGMS.(2) Identified the column set and the function of various columns.(3) Completed the layout of home page and various sub-pages.(4) Completed the development of patient information collection and application submitting functionality for detection application unit.(5) Completed the development of query functions on sample receive status and test results for detection application unit.(6) Completed the development of patient information view and test requisitions management functions for detection implementation unit.(7) Completed the development of sample receiving functions for detection implementation unit.(8) Completed the development of test results inputting functions for detection implementation unit.Conclusions:The use of TGMS, will simplify the workflow of blood concentration monitoring and genetic polymorphisms detection, improve the work efficiency. And it can be implemented as a portal website of the detection implementation unit, to facilitate the outsides for understanding and communicating with the detection application unit. It is currently developed for the workflow of irinotecan polymorphism detection. By simple modification, it can be easily used for therapeutic drug monitoring and genetic polymorphism detection of other drugs in the future.
