The Clinical Curative Effect Analysis Of Unicondylar Knee Arthroplasty For Unicompartmental Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective To study the method and curative effect of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty for unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis.to discuss the indications, prosthesis selection and surgical pitfalls. Methods From February2011to June2013,43patients underwent UKA.Some of them(17patients) used the Oxford,The others(26patients) used Zuk.Of them,there were17males(17knees)and26females(28knees). The average age of the patients was62.69years(range43-82years). Patients with joint interior clear room weight-bearing pain and tenderness.Before the operation,X ray and MR1were used for each knee joint examinationThe pain and the range of motion of knee were measured and pre-operative and post-operative KSS were recorded. Analysis of problems and countermeasures of clinical effect, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty. Results All the43patients were followed up fbr1month to29months,and the average time wag14months. The incision healed with no complication occurred.There were obviously statistical differences of pain of knee joint motion,and KSS between preperation and postoperation(P<0.05). Comparison between the two groups of prosthesis (KSS) score, there was no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty is a less invasive and effective method in treatment of knee osteoarthritis in single compartment.Fewer complications, faster recovery;But long-term efficacy still needs further observation and follow-up.
