Dual-energy computer tomography system(computer tomography, CT) is a dual-energy computed tomography scanner device. Comparing with traditional CT, it has higher imaging accuracy and quality, better contrast of soft tissue and lower x-ray dose, and meantime, it decrease the artifacts caused by moving target. Based on the above advantages, it is widely used in biomedical engineering, clinical treatment and diagnose. It makes a significant contribution to angiography, bone calcification and diagnose of cardiac diseases.The thesis comes from the National Natural Science Foundation Project "Research on The Key Technology of multi-energy CT" of Biomedical Engineering College of Northeastern University. The project is a major GATE Monte Carlo simulation software platform designed to simulate dual-energy CT imaging system, based on the results of the analysis of the simulated data.The scanner mode and the imaging principle of dual-energy computer tomography system is systematic analyzed, GATE simulation platform is built under the Linux system. The imaging system type has two different scanning mode of double layer CT imaging system and dual source CT imaging system based on the simulation platform. The design process involves a crystal detector selection, depth of reaction, energy deposition and detection efficiency analysis, at the same time, the data analysis of X-ray source model under different voltage and different materials are also simulated on the applicable model. The simulation of entire duel energy CT imaging system is completed on the64G memory computer, and the duel energy CT imaging system is also successful reproduced.The simulation data of the thesis is analyzed and compared to based on the MATLAB software, including X-ray spectral mapping, projection of image display and analysis.in the process of data processing, in the process of data processing, the different material contrast and material K edge effect of calcium solution, iodine solution, barium solution scanned by different CT imaging system are analyzed. Analysis results show that, the simulation of duel-energy CT is very significance for color CT detector research and medical diagnosis.
