Objective:Temperature has great significance on study of VH. It is one of the main factors can influence the results, also determines the VH research methods. However, research literatures on this topic are hardly finded. This paper based the animal experiment, test the rabbit eyes vitreous potassium ion concentration changes after the death under different temperature period and concluded the linear relationship between them. Temperature section includes7section from0to35℃, cover common environmental temperature. Therefore,it can fill the blank space in this aspect. Assist other experimental in experiment conditions control, individual difference influence reducing. Finally, because of lacking on physical material,the cost through this animal experiments is not big, So it can achieve expected research result easily. This will greatly promote the development on human body chemistry research.This experiment will complement the lack of research data on treating temperature as main factor to deduce the PMI through VH potassium ion concentration. Detected the rabbit vitreous humor potassium ion concentration change after the death by experiment, and analysis it to find a certain linear relationship between potassium ion concentration in vitreous humor and the time of death under different temperature. In the end, this paper will use Excel to set corresponding regression equation, and draw the curve. Make vitreous composition analysis can be more widely used in forensic practice.Methods:Use Japanese FUJIDRI-CHEM800automatic biochemical analyzer to measure vitreous humor chemical composition (sodium, chloride, potassium).The samples for the determination of chemical composition come from VH of rabbits die at8time point within96hours. Take all VH as sample and use Excel statistical software to complete regression analysis.Results:0℃-5℃:y=2.5393x+7.375, R2=0.977710℃-15℃:y=2.5753x+9.4883, R2=0.952915℃-20℃:y=2.7876x+7.5267, R2=0.946220℃-25℃:y=3.49x+2.9, R2=0.958425℃-30℃:y=3.3636x+6.3224, R2=0.998830℃-35℃:y=3.5643x+6.9071, R2=0.982Under the temperature period from25℃and30℃, since the available data only has three points, this paper does not take them in account to compare equation. Conclusion:The concentration of potassium is inversely related to PMI. Temperature had a great influence on the regression equation between them.It can be seen from the experimental results that the higher the temperature, the greater the slope of this equation. This is more obvious in early death period.
