| Purpose To observe the effects of Xin-Tong tai on cardiovascular remodeling in rats with coronary heart disease and illustrate the therapeutic mechanisms start from renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system(RAAS).Method The rat model of coronary heart disease was established by high fat diets and injecting Pituitri in intraperitoneal,then the successful model of rats were randomly divided into five groups:model group, Xin-Tong tai low-dose,middle-dose,high-dose groups and Catopril group, plus the normal group,6groups in all. Rats were given drug once a day last4weeks according to surface area and the dose conversion method,the dosage as follows:the low〠middle and high dose of Xin-Tong tai group were respectively provided4.3g/(kg·d)ã€8.6g/(kg·d)ã€17.2g/(kg·d), Catopril group was given7.8mg/(kg·d),besides, the normal group and model group were supplied equally volume of distilled water. After4weeks,we respectively detected ventricular remodeling indicators (CI, LVMI, RVMI), vascular remodeling indicators (CAWT〠CAWT/CALD〠CAW A/CALA) and renin, angiotensin â…¡, aldosterone levels in plasma.Result (1) After4weeks,Compared with the normal group, the contents of PRA, Ang â…¡ALD increased significantly(P<0.05), CI, LVMI, RVMI, CAWT〠CAWT/CALD〠CAWA/CALA all increased(P<0.05) in the model group.(2) Compared with the model group, in the low,middle,high dose of Xin-Tong tai groups and Catopril group, the levels of PRA, Ang II, ALD and CI, LVMI, RVMI, CAWT〠CAWT/CALD〠CAWA/CALA all reduced significantly (P<0.05).(3)Compared with the Xin-Tong tai low-dose group, the concentrations of PRA, Ang â…¡, ALD and CI, LVMI, RVMI, CAWT. CAWT/CALD. CAWA/CALA decreased in the middle,high dose of Xin-Tong tai groups and Catopril group.(P<0.05).(4) Xin-Tong tai middle-dose,high-dose groups and Catopril group compared among groups, there were no statistically significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusion Xin-Tong tai may interference cardiovascular remodeling, improve myocardial blood flow and cardiac function of the rat with coro-nary heart disease through inhibiting the activation of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. The effect of middle and high dose groups of Xin-To ng tai is better than the low dose group. |
