Objective:Researching the level of Nasal and Fraction of Exhaled Nitric Oxide in persistent allergic Rhinitis, to investigating the significance of airway inflammation and clinical value. Methods:We measured the concentration of airway nitric oxide of67persistent allergic Rhinitis. As a control group, we evaluated30healthy adults. To measure NO, we used NIOX(?) analysis.Results:1、The baseline levels of experimental and the healthy control group in age, gender, height, body weight, had no statistical significance.2、The FeNO of AR was (44.2±3.6) ppb, and the control group was (15.7±5.2) ppb, the content of FeNO in AR was significantly higher than that in normal control group, the difference had statistically significance (P=0.000).3、The FeNO in mild and moderate to severe persistent AR was (22.7±9.9) ppb and (59.7±4) ppb, compared to the control group,it was(15.7± 5.2)ppb, there was significant difference (P=0.000).4、The content of FeNO in moderate to severe persistent AR was significantly higher than that in mild AR, the difference was statistically significant (P=0.000)5、The content of NNO in persistent AR was (88.4±3.5) ppb, the control group was (84.2±2.6) ppb. The NNO in the persistent AR and the different degree of persistent AR, compared with the normal control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05)6、There was no correlation between NNO and FeNO in persistent AR (P=0.354)Conclusions:It was found that the concentration of FeNO in persistent AR was significantly higher than in normal adults. The detection of NO was convenient and quick, and could in time monitoring the inflammation degree of persistent AR. Persistent AR who had no symptoms but normal lung function still had abnormal NO. The investigation of FeNO might be used in persistent AR management and its treatment。...
