| Objective: To evaluate the value of99mTc-3PRGD2SPECT/CT imagingtechnique in the radiotherapy for head, neck, thoracic, abdominal and pelvic cancers, the changes of tumor volume and ratio of T/N radionuclide uptake were observedbefore and after radiotherapy using99mTc-3PRGD2SPECT/CT functional imagingtechnique.Materials and methods:There are50patients with tumor which were receivedradiotherapy from February2014to February2015, all the patients were receivedpathological or cytological examination and were confirmed for cancer. There are20cases of head and neck cancers(6cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma,3cases of theoropharynx carcinoma,4cases of hypopharyngeal carcinoma,5cases of laryngealcancer, and2cases of unknown cancer),13cases of thoracic cancers (7cases ofesophageal cancer, and6cases of lung cancer),17cases of abdominal and pelviccancers (10cases of rectal cancer, and7cases of cervical cancer). With27males and23cases of female, the average age is53year old. All the patients were received99mTc-3PRGD2SPECT/CT examination in different radiation dose (0Gy,20GY,40Gy, and60Gy). Using visual analysis and semi quantitative method formeasurement of ratio of T/N radionuclide uptake changes and tumor volumechanges,we can evaluate the application value through the99mTc-3PRGD2SPECT/CTexamination in tumors radiotherapy. The data were expressed as mean±SD, Usingsoftware SPSS16.0for the Student’s t test.Result:1, There were16cases of cancer with99mTc-3PRGD2abnormal concentrationin the20cases of head and neck cancers, and positive rate was80%,12cases ofcancer with99mTc-3PRGD2abnormal concentration in the13cases of thoracic cancers, and positive rate was92.3%,10cases of cancer with99mTc-3PRGD2abnormalconcentration in the17cases of abdominal and pelvic cancers, and positive rate was58.8%2. According to the follow-up results, patients were divided into3groups, CRgroup, PR group, SD/PD group.(1)CR group: compared with0Gy group, all thetumor volume had no significant change, but the ratio of T/N had statisticalsignificance in the20Gy group; compared with0Gy group, all the tumor volume andratio of T/N had statistical significance in the40Gy group;compared with0Gygroup,all the tumor volume and ratio of T/N had no statistical significance in the60Gy group.(2)CR group: compared with0Gy group, all the tumor volume had nosignificant change, but the ratio of T/N had statistical significance in the20Gy group;all the tumor volume and ratio of T/N had statistical significance in the40Gy groupcompared with0Gy group;all the tumor volume and ratio of T/N had no statisticalsignificance in the60Gy group compared with0Gy group.(3)all the tumor volumeand ratio of T/N had no statistical significance in different group compared with0GygroupConclusion:1The positive rate of the99mTc-3PRGD2SPECT/CT imagingtechnique is different in different parts of the tumor, The lowest of which is abdominaland pelvic tumor, head and neck tumor is higher, thoracic tumor is highest.2The99mTc-3PRGD2SPECT/CT imaging technique could evaluate the radiotherapeuticeffect in incipient stage compared with CT scan so as to adjust the succedenttherapeutic schedule. |
