All13operative procedures were completed successfully, and there were no surgical complications.5patients of them received hysteroscopic surgery,1patient underwent hysteroscopy operation under ultrasound monitorin,2patients received hysteroscopy combined with laparoscop,5patients used abdominal surgery. Ten patients conceived full-term pregnancy and were done elective cesarean section,1patient was currently in5months pregnant,1did artificial abortion operation for accidental pregnancy,1was done complete curettage of uterine cavity because of the inevitable abortion. Hysteroscopy examination was expected to be gold standard of PCSD diagnosis. Hysteroscopic and abdominal surgeries for women with PCSD were safe and effective. Surgical repairs are suggested to PCSD women for fertility requirements.ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of surgical treatment of women with previous cesarean scar defect (PCSD) in subsequent pregnancy.MethodsFrom Jan.2003to Jun.2014,13patients with PCSD were diagnosed and treated surgically in our hospital.
