Objective:Appraise and analyze the intervention effects of group psychological intervention and music relaxation therapy on the presence of anxiety in pregnant women with threatened abortion after In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer (IVF-ET), with the use of psychological intervention to monitor the anxiety of pregnant women with threatened abortion after IVF-ET.Method:220 pregnant women with threatened abortion after IVF-ET were chosen from the tenth ward of the Nanjing Maternity and Child Care Hospital during the period from September 2013 to December 2014. Then the samples were divided into two groups based on the envelope approach. One group was adopted the normal nursing approach while group psychological intervention and music relaxation therapy for the other. Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Social Support Revalued Scale (SSAS) and General Survey Questionnaire were given to both groups for measurement when they entered the hospital, and the form of SAS and SSAS were sent out again to both groups when they left. The final results were entered and managed by using SPSS 19.0 statistical software, where enumeration data was described by percentage, measurement data was presented by Mean ent data percentage, Spearman correlation analysis were also utilized.Results:1. There were no statistical differences between the two groups of patients regarding the composition of the general information including age, occupation, income, education, and payment method of medical expenses, and it was also not comparable (p> 0.5). After analyzing, there were also no statistical differences regarding gravidity, parity, gestational age and the number of abortions, and it was not comparable as well (p> 0.5).2. Of patients leaving the hospital, the SAS score of mental intervention group was (46.9+8.05), while the control group was (54.2+6.66). The comparative difference of the two groups was statistically significant (t=7.31, P<0.05). To be more specific, when leaving the hospital, the number of patients presenting with no anxiety, totaled 25 in the control group (22.7%), and 58 in the intervention group (52.7%); 58 patients with low anxiety in the control group (52.7%), and 45 patients in intervention group (40.9%); the number of patients with moderate anxiety was 27 in the control group (24.5%), and there were only 7 patients in intervention group (6.4%); the number of patients with severe anxiety in both groups were zero. The component ratio differences of anxiety levels between these two groups were statistically significant (P< 0.01). The statistical analysis result of the number of patients with anxiety compared to the number of patients without anxiety across the two groups following treatment, demonstrates that the number of anxious patients in the intervention group dramatically decreased compared to the control group, which is again statistically significant (P< 0.01).3. The social supports had been significantly improved for the intervention group compared to the control group. which is again statistically significant (P< 0.05).Conclusion:1. In this paper, following the investigation of the anxiety levels of 220 patients, the level of anxiety had been significantly reduced for the intervention group; receiving group intervention measures and relaxation therapies. Consequently, using psychological intervention and clinical relaxation therapy should be promoted.2. Patients’ anxiety was conspicuously reduced after the intervention of group psychological intervention and music relaxation therapy, and the social supports were also significantly improved. As a result, psychological nursing provides a remarkable clinical effect and is worth promoting.
