1.Backgrounds and objectives:Rectocele is a disease of The rectum anterior wall protruding straight,also known as anterior rectocele.it was the earliest known as a gynecological disease. RC is found in Female, during defecation the rectum anterior wall protruded into the vagina, stool accordingly protruded into the bag-shaped bag, and Can not be discharged through the anus. In fact it is constipation. Currently, Constipation is divided into three groups as colon slow transit constipation(CSTC), outlet obstructive constipation(OOC), and mixed constipation. colon slow transit constipation,including rectal prolapse,rectocele, pelvic peritoneum hernia, pelvic floor muscle spasm syndrome, perineum drop syndrome, solitary rectal ulcer syndrome, and internal sphincter achalasia syndrome。For the treatment of rectocele, Medication was invalid usually, Biofeedback and surgery were the main approaches. But Simple biofeedback treatment was not ideal,and Relapsed. so Surgery became the best choice. In many surgical methods, Through the anus closed rectocele repair for the advantages of little damage, Less bleeding,and Shorter operative time won the well-recognized at home and broad, so it became the main stay of therapy for RC.Now there was a Common clinical problem. that is, many rectocele patients was not still satisfied with the efficiency of Conservative and surgery treatment, even some patients complained of Ineffectiveness.As a result that many clinicians also doubted of the results of surgery. whether the operation can be improved bowel function in patients with RC?At present many scholars have verified by angiography defecate that surgery can repair normal physiological structure of the rectum anterior wall,but no one knows whether surgery can improve bowel function in patients with rectal carcinoma.Anorectal manometry can understood the anorectal contracting and releasing ability by testing anorectal resting pressure, dynamic pressure and reflex activity, and then analyzed anorectal function. It was a simple, non-invasive detection have been proven to have a high diagnostic value, of which the maximal squeeze pressure can be used in Objective evaluation of the improvement of the anal control.Objective to evaluate the effect of surgical operation of treating rectocele(block repair procedure) by anorectal manometry, whether was this operation appropriate forrectocele and can improve function of stool controlling.That was very import for direction of cure of rectocele.2.Materials and Methods:Data of randomized controlled trials on 63 cases of female patients with rectocele from 2012.01.01 to 2013.12.17 in Xinhua Hospital of Dalian University were analyzed retrospectively,all the patients were diagnosed by the standard Rome Three of diagnosis, aged 29-81 years old(50±21 years old). tested anorectal pressure and recorded rectum maximal squeeze pressure before operation, and then have surgical operation of treating rectocele(block repair procedure), tested anorectal pressure again after operation, and then recorded rectum maximal squeeze pressure. Compared the rectum maximal squeeze pressure between preoperative and postoperative.3. results:Among the 63 cases with surgical operation of treating rectocele(block repair procedure),rectum maximal squeeze pressure in preoperative group79.56±12.24 mmHg,rectum maximal squeeze pressure in postoperative group100.36±18.76 mmHg. Surgery improved rectum maximal squeeze pressure. Compared the rectum maximal squeeze between the two groups, p<0.05, there were statistical significant.63cases(100%) rectum maximal squeeze pressure were significantly improved than the preoperative, including 33 cases(52.38%) recovered to normal.in other words, From the perspective of improving defecation function, the operation of treating rectocele(block repair procedure)was efficient, total efficient 100%. with cure rates 52.38%.4. Conclusions:Surgical operation of treating rectocele(block repair procedure) can improve bowel function, it was a simple and effective method, was worth of extending in clinical.
