| Object: the treatment of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris by Shexiang Baoxin Pill, to investigate the effect of Shexiang Baoxin Pill on exercise tolerance in patients with the disease, so as to guide the clinical treatment.Methods: 60 elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris in accordance with the standards of the patients, randomly divided into 2 groups, 20 cases in the experimental group, the control group of 20 cases. The control group were given western medicine(Trimetazidine Dihydrochloride Tablets) of conventional therapy, the experimental group given the above-mentioned treatment of heart protecting musk pill 45 mg 3 times / day. The course of treatment was 8 weeks, changes were observed before and after treatment in patients with 6min walk test, exercise tolerance, TCM syndrome integral.Results:1. The exercise tolerance evaluation index: 6min walk test distance of movement, myocardial oxygen consumption and METs value, compared two groups of patients before and after treatment, the results were better, and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); the two groups after treatment between two groups before and after treatment and compared, the difference of P<0.05, there were significant differences between the two groups; METs value after treatment than before treatment were increased, compared with that before treatment were significantly different(P<0.01); after treatment, compare two groups P<0.05 METs value, there are obvious differences between the two groups.2. ejection fraction assessment: two groups before treatment and after treatment compared, ejection fraction improved, the experimental group was higher than control group; between the two groups before and after treatment the difference contrast and comparison, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3. Evaluation of curative effect of 3 TCM syndromes: the experimental group was 18% efficiency, efficiency is 9%, the total effective rate was 90%, the control group was 6% efficiency, efficiency is 17%, the total effective rate was 77%, the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.Conclusion: Shexiang Baoxin Pill can significantly improve the elderly patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris symptoms and signs, Shexiang Baoxin Pill can improve myocardial ischemia and myocardial oxygen consumption index, increase exercise tolerance, so as to improve the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease. |
