The thesis includes two chapters and clinical research. Literature is divided into two. The first section introduces the research progress of modern medicine to sepsis, mainly on domestic and nearly 10 years of research on sepsis, sepsis is divided into the evolution and epidemiological studies related to the definition of two parts. Section II describes the research progress of Chinese medicine for sepsis, mainly from the Six Classics, Wei Qi Ying Xue, triple burner differentiation system starting with the traditional Chinese medicine theory reveals sepsis, mass change, the law of prognosis. Clinical research include the following four aspects:Objectives: This study analyzes summarized Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2009 to October 2014 Check the emergency department, ICU( intensive care unit) of 87 cases of patients with sepsis data to investigate the sepsis syndrome characteristics related factors affecting morbidity and mortality syndrome type distribution, etc., help sepsis TCM system established standardization in order to better use of Chinese medicine theory of sepsis syndrome differentiation.Methods: The study included the clinical data of 87 cases of patients with sepsis develop basic patient information form, including sex, age, origin department, past history and prognosis. Refer to " Diagnostics of Chinese Medicine," " TCM clinical syndromes term treatment part " to develop patient questionnaires four diagnostic information, including clinical symptoms, tongue and pulse, etc., will be collected medical records entered into the database, using SPSS17.0 statistical software analysis, measurement data using t test, count data using chi-square test or Fisher’s exact test, TCM syndrome using cluster analysis, conclusion.Results: 1、epidemiological data analysis:( 1) increases with age, the incidence of sepsis on the rise, and more significant population over age 60 increased incidence than other age groups;( 2) gender, the incidence seasonal differences in the incidence of sepsis was not statistically significant;( 3) respiratory infections are the most common foci;( 4) common medical history, including coronary heart disease, hypertension, stroke, diabetes, surgery, cancer, chronic bronchitis; impact( 5) sex differences in sepsis mortality was not statistically significant;( 6) increases with age, sepsis mortality on the rise, there are statistically significant. 2、TCM clinical Syndromes: 87 cases of clinical signs and symptoms in patients with sepsis after by clustering analysis is divided into five categories.
