Objective:To explore the prognosis of radical cystectomy with preservation of sexual nerve, it describes the anatomy and surgical points of plexus neurovascular bundle.Methods:The clinical data of the male patients with bladder cancer who were treated with radical cystectomy(control group, n=31) and radical cystectomy with preservation of sexual nerve(experimental group, n=34) were retrospective analyzed. Patients were followed up for 9-28 months after operation. The age, operation mode, location of the tumor, postoperative survive period, local recurrence rate and other factors of the patients in two groups were compared.. Impact the assessment of two surgical procedures on male sexual function.Results:There was no difference in age, preoperative comorbidity, preoperative sexual function evaluation, clinical stage, postoperative urinary continence and recurrence rate between two groups. There are 5 cases with penile erection and intercourse satisfaction,5 cases with erectile function to drop, can part of the erection, lower than preoperative erectile hardness;21 cases of penile can’t erect in control group.There are 26 cases with penile erection and intercourse satisfaction,3 cases with erectile function to drop, can part of the erection, lower than preoperative erectile hardness; 5 cases of penile can’t erect in retention group.Conclusions:Radical cystectomy with preservation of sexual nerve compared with radical cystectomy have the advantage of reducing the probability of postoperative patients with erectile dysfunction,and contributing to improve the life quality of the patients.
