Objective:To Objectively observe the clinic effect and security of the method of dredging Du meridian to guide Chi to treat NERD. To further explore the method of operation of acupuncture to treat NERD.To provide the basis for application of the method to treat the disease.MethodsrAccording to the inclusion criteria,60 patients with NERD are randomly divided into observation groups and the control group,30 cases each group. Observation group was treated by the method of dredging Du meridian to guide Chi three times a week,30min once, the observation period for four weeks; the control group was treated by the current drug of choice for first-line treatment of NERD rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated capsules 20mg, taken as needed, the observation period is 4 weeks. The result value were carried on pre-treatnent,2 weeks after treatment and post-treatnent.Evaluation indicators include:① Reflux Diagnostic Questionnaire(RDQ);② Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS);③ Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS); ④ Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire (GerdQ)Result:1.Clinical efficacy:the number of the patients of the observation group who was markedly effective was 13,effective was14, no changed was 3 cases; and the number of the patients of the control group who was markedly effective was 5, effective was14,no changed was 11. The total effective rate of the observation group was 90%,the control group was 63.3%, there was statistically significant difference (P<0.05); The observation group significant effective rate was 43.3%,16.7% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The result noticed that the observation group was better than the control group, and for the degree of improvement in symptoms, the observation group was more obvious than the control group.2.By comparing P value between the two groups after finishing the treatment:(1)After finishing the treatment, compared with the difference of RDQ scores between before and after treatment in the observation group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01), indicating that acupuncture was effective on treating NERD.The difference of RDQ scores between before and after treatment in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),indicating that rabeprazole was also effective.(2) Compared with the scores of SAS,SDS and GerdQ in observation group,post-treatment was lower than pre-treatment,and the difference was statistically significant. In the observation group, the scores of SAS,SDS and GerdQ,post-treatment was lower than pre-treatment,but the difference was no statistically significant, there were statistical significance between the observation group and control group after treatment in SAS,SDS and GerdQ scores(P<0.05), indicating that acupuncture had a better efecct than rabeprazol in improving patient’s symptoms and signs, anxiety, depression, medication for the quality of life impact.Conclusion:1.After the end of treatment, the scores of RDQ, SAS, SDS and GerdQ and the total efficiency showed, there was significant difference between the observation group and the control group (P<0.05),which indicated the method of dredging Du meridian to guide Chi(study group) was better than rabeprazole (control group) on the treatment of NERD.2. The method of dredging Du meridian to guide Chi can not only effectively improve NERD patients with acid reflux, heartburn, non-cardiac chest pain, regurgitation, etc.,but also plays a significant role to improve the patient’s anxiety, depression and quality of life.
