| Objective: This study is to observe the clinical effect of sequelae of peripheral facial paralysis by acupuncturing the “Suihui-point groupâ€(SPG). Exploring the possibility of achieving better clinical effect of sequelae of peripheral facial paralysis by acupuncturing. To provide a new idea and method for clinal treatmeat on Sequelae of Facial Paralysis.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 30 and 30 cases respectively, the treatment group selected “Suihui-point groupâ€(SPG) points and regular points with the TDP illumination.The control group acupuncture regular points except “Suihui-point groupâ€(SPG).Each group has the same treatment courseã€manipulationã€needle retention and stroke frequency. Evaluation of curative effect were given by the two groups of patients before and after the treatment.Results:After treatment the scores of the observation group and the control group are statistically significant compared with before treatment.The observation group is superior to control group( P < 0.05);The dynamic 〠static and facial paralysis complication scores of two groups after treatment are statistically significant, The observation group is superior to control group( P< 0.05); the recovery rate, the efficiency and the total effective rate of the observation group are higher than those of the control group, but the total efficacy of the two groups is no significant difference.Conclusion: Both Acupuncture regular points with or without “Suihui-point groupâ€(SPG) point had clinical effects on sequelae of peripheral facial paralysis, but treatment group is superior to control group.Further more the treatment group showed a better static state of the wrinkles on the forehead, eyelids, nasolabial sulcus, mouth, mentolabial sulcus syndromes and facial dynamic concept, also improve the complications of sequelae of peripheral facial paralysis. |
