Ancient Literature Research On The Treatment Of Asthma By Acupuncture And Tuina

Objectives Through analyzing the understanding of asthma by the ancient physician-s,and acupuncture, moxibustion, tuina on the application characteristics and laws of asthma.the theoretical basis and clinical treatment of asthma is explored,to provide new ideas for clinical treatment of treatment for asthma.Methods By data mining methods and literature analysis on the relevant literature ab-out the "Chinese medical classics" relating to acupuncture and tuina treatment of asth-ma.Characteristics and law of the treatment of asthma is illuminated from multi-level, multi-angle by collected, screening, analysis, classification.Results 1 176 acupoint were involved in "Chinese medical classics" relating to asthma frequency geting to 1986 times.there are 10 acupoints,whose total frequency get-s to 75%,including Tiantu, Zusanli, Feishu, Danzhong, Shufu, Shangyang, Qihai, Sa-njian, Kunlun, Taiyuan(frequency order: high to low). The acupoints lie in Ren Me-ridina, Stomach Meridianof Foot-Yangming, The Urinary Bladder Meridian of FootTaiyang, The Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin, Lung Meridianof Hand-Taiyin. Locat-ing in chest and abdomen. 2 10 kinds of extra-points were found out during literat-ure analysis, including Juquan, Yuzhong, Xietang, Pangting, Weigujian, Jiuxiao, Cuishi-sihua, Mapifeng, little finger, ring finger end, which showed good effect to treat asthma. 3 4 needles were adopted by ancient physicians, including general needle, Gol-d medical needle, three-edged needle, red-hot needle. Up to manipulation of acupuncture, tonification and purgation were popular, needle depth generally shallow. Dire-ction of acupuncture included along with meridian, contrary with meridian, centralit-y and sides. There were five kinds of hand manipulations, including scraping, liftin-g, stretching and plating, press and pull out of the needle, palpable points, pulling out slowly and sticking needle when patients holding on breath. The moxibustion mainly includes moxa cone, wheat grain cone, indirect moxibustion, the counts of moxibustion accords to fews, ages, lasting till to cure and large moxa. Besides normal urgent manipulation, 3 conditions should be pain attention to,they are moxibus-tion after disease, moxibustion in emergency, quick moxibustion. 4 Main populationsof Tuina mainly includes pushing manipulation, rubbing manipulation, finger-nailpressing, revolving-manipulation, forking manipulation and compound manipulation.Acupoints to tuina mainly involved Jingling, Jingning and Sihengwen, characteried with multiple times.Conclusions There are several laws, relating to acupoints, acupuncture tools, depth, direction, the andmoxibustion time, form, number, Tuina techniques, on the number of points, and the syndrome differentiation according to ancient physicians treatin-g on asthma with acupuncture, moxibustion and tuina. There final evidence is off-ered relating to treatment on asthma with modern medicine. There is providing si-gnificance to select acupoint and therapy.
