Objectives To establish the model of rats with osteoporosis and prepare strontium brushite coating implants used electrochemical process. To observe the osseointegration and to provide new ideas and experimental evidence for the clinical application of tins kind of implants. Methods 1 This experiment adopted electrochemical deposition to modify surface of pure titanium implants. The morphology of coated implants was observed by sanning election microscopy and the chemical composition was analyzed by energy spectrum analysis.232 SD rats,3-4 months of ages, female.16 of them were used to establish the model of osteoporosis and others as contrast. Every part of them was randomly divided into 4 groups:pure titanium implant group, brushite coating implant group, strontium hydrogen phosphate implant group,15% strontium-brushite implant group,4 rats in each group. These implants were placed in the bilateral tibia near the stem end of bone, and injected with alizarin red, tetracycline and calcein fluorescence as labeling. Produce non decalcified bone tissue sections after 4 weeks and 12 weeks.3 Observe and calculate bone contact ratio and bone mineral apposition rates. Manipulate experiment statistics withSPSS17.0.Results 1 The surface strontium doped calcium prepared by electrochemical method phosphate coatings was multilevel porous structure.2 Sequence labeling revealed 15% strontium-brushite coating showing early osteogenic activity both in normal and in rats with osteoporosis, bone implant contact (BIC) and bone mineral apposition ratio (MAR) significantly higher than the other three groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Pure brushite of MAR showed significant difference vs pure titanium (P<0.05). Compared wrth normal and ovariectomized rats group, the MAR of four groups had significant difference (P<0.05). For ovariectomized and normal rats, BIC of brushite and SrHPO4 showed significant differences vs pure titanium (P<0.05) and each coating group was significantly different in 4 weeks and 12 weeks (P<0.05).3 Biomechanical experimental results show that,15%strontium-brushite implant groups ability significantly higher than the other three groups (P<0.05). In 4 weeks, in addition to 15% strontium-brushite, the other three groups have significant differences (P<0.05). The two part of rats showed significant differences in 12 weeks (P<0.05).Conclusions 1 Electrochemical method for preparing strontium brushite coating possesses has good operability, biocompatibility and osteoconduction, and has the application prospect of the activation treatment technology.215% strontium-brushite coating biological activity was significantly higher than that of pure titanium and biushite coating, the incorporation of strontium slowed the dissolution of brushite, promote the integration of the implant-bone tissue interface.3 The use of strontium brushite coating has a certain function in bone implant integration for the patients with osteoporosis.
