Part 1 A plot study of pulmonary parenchyma usingmagnetic resonance imaging time resolved imaging ofcontrast kinetics techniqueObjective To explore the feasibility of pulmonary parenchyma using magnetic resonance imaging time resolved imaging of contrast kinetics(MRI-TRICKS) technique in volunteers and patients, and compare the signal intensity between the two groups. Methods Fifteen volunteers underwent magnetic resonance imaging time resolved imaging of contrast kinetics, the post-contrast agent imaging subtract the pre-contrast agent imaging, and then export them to the GE ADW4.3 workstation Functool,we choose a ROI in superior lobe、 middle lobe and inferior lobe of left、right parenchyma, left 、 right main pulmonary artery 、 pulmonary vein and aorta, the ROI is not more than 100mm2.and observer the signal intensity and perfusion curve.Choose one of the phases among them and export it to the Reformat to observer the vessels.Compare the signal intensity between the two groups. Results The signal intensity of superior lobe 、 middle lobe and inferior lobe in left and right lung are no significant difference(P>0.05).The signal intensity of superior lobe 、 middle lobe and inferior lobe in left and the signal intensity of superior lobe 、 middle lobe and inferior lobe in right are no significant difference(P>0.05).The signal intensity of volunteers and PH are no significant difference(P>0.05)Conclusion MRI-TRICKS is a feasibility technique in assessment of pulmonary parenchyma and pulmonary artery.Part 2 A preliminary study of pulmonary arteryhemodynamics using magnetic resonance imagingphase-contrast in patients with pulmonary hypertensionObjective The aim of this investigation was to discuss pulmonary artery hemodynamics in patients with pulmonary hypertension using magnetic resonance imaging phase-contrast,and the role of MRI in clinic. Methods Twenty volunteers(control group) and sixteen pulmonary hypertension patients(PH group) performed magnetic resonance imaging phrase-contrast examinations. All the data were analyzed by two radiologists using the soft of 3.6 Report CARD Flow software, peak positive velocity、 peak negative velocity、average flow、average positive flow、average negative flow、maximum area、 minimum area、 maximum diameter、 maximum diameter were obtained, distensibility、 regurgitant fraction、 expansion were obtained through calculate and then independent-sample t test was employed for statistical assessment between the two groups. Results Peak negative velocity and average positive flow are no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Peak positive velocity、 average flow、average negative flow、 distensibility、 expansion of PH are much slower than the controls(P<0.05),the maximum area、 minimum area、 maximum diameter、 maximum diameter and regurgitant fraction are much higher than the controls(P<0.05).Conclusion MRI can assess the pulmonary artery hemodynamics accurately and it is valuable in clinic.Part 3 A preliminary study of left and right ventricular function using magnetic resonance cine imaging in patientswith pulmonary hypertensionObjective The aim of this investigation was to discuss left and right ventricular functions’ changes in patients with pulmonary hypertension using magnetic resonance cine imaging, and the role of MRI in clinic. Methods Twenty volunteers(control group) and sixteen pulmonary hypertension patients(PH group) performed magnetic resonance imaging examinations. All the data were analyzed by two radiologists using the soft of 3.6 Report CARD,left and right ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV、 RVEDV)、 left and right ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV、 RVESV)、 left and right ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF、 RVEF)、 left、 right ventricular strove volume(LVSV、 RVSV)、 left and right ventricular myocardial mass(LVMM、RVMM)、right ventricular wall thickness(RVWT) and ventricular mass index(VMI) were obtained and then independent-sample t test was employed for statistical assessment between the two groups. Results The RVEDVI、RVESVI、RVEF、RVSVI are no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),RVMM、 RVWT and VMI of PH are much higher than the controls(P<0.05).The LVEDVI、LVESVI are significant difference(P<0.05) and the LVESVI、 LVEF、 LVMM are no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion MRI can assess the right and left ventricle function accurately and it is valuable in clinic.
