Background and objective Endometriosis is a gynecological disease which means the endometrium with uterine activity grows outside of the uterus. The childbearing years women tend to suffer from this disease, and the morbidity is about 10-15%. The endometriosis has some characteristics of malignant tumor although it belongs to benign lesion, such as invasion, seeding and transfer et al. The clinical features are aggravating pelvic adhesions, pain and infertility. Although there are various studies for the pathogenesis, but no one can explain how the Endometriosis development and progress. Researches during these years have found that the cytokines play key rules in this development. VEGF is the most powerful tumor angiogenesis factor found until now. Features a high level of VEGF and planting invasion of the uterine endometrium have given, making the transfer of endometriosis, adhesions planting and more serious. Thus, thrive in ectopic endometrium of endometriosis and increased expression of thanks ectopic vascular lesions of VEGF. Angiogenin- 2(Angio- 2), is a related to angiogenesis of protein. During the process of endometriosis lesions angiogenesis, is a very key factor adjustment. In the process of blood vessel formation, it can play an important role. Beta 1 beta interleukins(IL- 1) in human endometrial changes periodically, occupies an important position. It is the role of immune regulation for the body. Studies have shown that patients with pain degree and IL- 1 beta in peritoneal fluid has a close relationship between the concentration of high and low.No research have been reported for the correlation and combined utilization of VEGF、Angio-2 and IL-1β. This study has analyzed the VEGF、Angio-2 and IL-1βexpression in serum and peritoneal fluid, discuss their correlation in the pathogenesis of endometriosis, aiming to give some guiding significance in clinical diagnosis of endometriosis.materials and methods: 1. Group of Experiments1.1 disease group It was selected randomly for the Patients with endometriosis who have be under treatment in the hospital. Base on the American Fertility Society, it was classified as follows: stage I-II have 30 patients. Stage III-IV have 41 patients. 1.2 control group 62 patients with benign ovarian tumor were chosen for control group. 1.3 Inclusion criteria All patients in this experiment should have no glucocorticoids grugs, ntrauterine device before the surgery. They also should have no endocrine, immune system and metabolism disease, no hormonally responsive disease such as adenomyosis of uterus, myoma of uterus and hyperplasia of mammary glands. 2. Methods: Fasting venous blood was obtained before the surgery. The VEGF、Angio-2 and IL-1βconcentration was detected using enzyme linked immuno sorbent assay. Variance analysis was used to comparison their expression differences, and the ROC was used to analyse the detection effect. Results: There were significant differences for expression of VEGF、Angio-2 in serum and peritoneal fluid between disease group and control group(P<0.05). IL-1β in peritoneal fluid differed significantly and no significant differences were found for IL-1β in serum. Angio-2 in serum and VEGF in peritoneal fluid from stage III-IV patients were higher than that of stage I-II patients. Angio-2 has good detection effect. Conclusion: High expression of VEGF、Angio-2 and IL-1βin serum and peritoneal fluid suggest their correlation with the occurrence and development of endometriosis. This research gave some theoretical basis for the screening and clinic treatment of endometriosis.
