| Objective:To discuss the effect of surgical safety checklist on gastrointestinal tumor patients postoperative clinical outcome.Methods: By retrospective analysis from March2007 to April 2013 Qingdao municipal hospital general surgery treated 2221 cases of surgical treatment of gastrointestinal malignant tumor patients hospitalization orwithin 30 days, and according to it applied surgical safety checklist or not and divided into control group(not used) and observation group(group), compare the effects of related factors on the complications, discusses application of surgical safety checklist whether have influence on gastrointestinal tumor patients’ clinical outcome.Results:Two groups of patients with gender, age,and other general clinical data have no statistical significance(P>0.05). Logistic single factor regression analysis showed that gender, age, diabetes, hypertension, cerebrovascular disease, emergency, TNM staging, combined multi-visceral resection, operation time and Surgical safe checklist is associated with postoperative complications Logistic multifactor regression analysis found that the patient’s gender, age, safe checklist, diabetes, combined multi-visceral resection, operation time,emergency were independent factors of postoperative complications of patients(P<0.05).The total complication rate(including death) dropped by 5%,(P<0.05).Conclusion:The patient’s clinical outcomes associated with the application of surgical safety checklist, The application of surgical safety checklist for the patient’s clinical outcomes have a positive impact, It can reduce the patient’s complications, mortality. |
