Relevant Research Of Keratin-15 In The Metastasis Of Gastric Cancer

Aim: To detect the Keratin-15 expression in gastric tissues,and to search its influence on cell motility and its role in the metastasis of gastric cancerd. Methods: Used the RT-PCR and immunohistochemical SP method to detect Keratin-15 expression in 61 cases of gastric cancer tissues, analysis the relationship between the Keratin-15 expression and clinicopathological charateristics of tumors. Results:(1) Among the 61 cases of gastric cancer tissues, 41 cases have positive Keratin-15 expression,includes 25 cases weakly positive,5 cases positive,11 cases shrong positive,and other 20 cases negative expression.And Keratin-15 expression is no-correlation with gender、age、tumor differentiation(P>0.05).And in some of the cases,continuous expressions of keratin-15 were also observed in the leading edge of cancer tissiues.(2)The migration ability is reinforced in PLV-k15 cells, while the situation is opposite in siK15 cells.(3).The expression of vemintin and twist mRNA and proteins in cell pLV-K15 do not change significantly. Conclusion: Keratin-15 expressions are positive in most gastric cancer tissue,and high expressions of keratin-15 can be observed in the leading edge of cancer tissiues.Keratin-15 can promote the cell motility, and to reinforced the cell migration, and thus to be associated with tumor metastasis probably, therefore this may provide a new thought for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.
