The Expression And Significance Of MMP-2 And CD117 In Different Uterine Smooth Muscle Tumor

Objective:We intend to explore its pathogenesis of human uterine smooth muscle(USMTs) and estimated to provide a theoretical basis for the identification of benign and malignant tumors of uterine smooth muscle to provide a new diagnostic marker assisted and uterine leiomyosarcoma seek new targeted therapies,by studying the expression levels of MMP-2 and CD117 in different kind of USMTs.Methods:Randomly selecting 30 cases of UL,30 cases of CL and 10 cases of LMS in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January of 2006 to March of 2014,who underwent surgery with all data of case history. Determined the expression of MMP-2 and CD117 in these cases by immunohistochemical and analyzed its characteristics.Results:1. MMP-2 is mainly located in the cytoplasm,showed brown particles.6 of the 30 cases of UL were positive expression(20%);14 of the 30 cases of CL were positive expression(46.7%);9 of the 30 LMS cases were positive expression(90%).The MMP-2 positive rate of the LMS group was the highest of the three groups(P<0.05),the MMP-2 positive rate of the CL group was higher than that of UL(P<0.05).2.CD117 is mainly located in the cytoplasm or cell membrane,showed yellow or brown granules.3 of the 30 cases of UL were positive expression(10%);12 of the 30 cases of CL were positive expression(46.7%);9 of 10 cases of LMS manifested positive expression(90%).The CD117 positive rate of the LMS group was the highest of the three groups(P<0.05),The CD117 positive rate of the CL group was higher than that of UL(P <0.05).3. The expression of MMP-2 and CD117 has no statistical significance with tumor size and number in UL,CL and LMS group(P > 0.05).Conclusions:MMP-2,CD117 positive rates of the UL,CL and LMS is on the rise.The significance was detected in three groups.Therefore, Using immunohistochemical method to determine the positive expression of MMP- 2,CD117 in different USMTs have a good effet to determine the nature of the USMTs.In addition, the test proved rich cells leiomyoma is a range of borderline tumors beteewn UL and LMS.It can not be classified as UL.Although we can not see any different clinical manifestations of UL.CL is easy to relapse,which has malignant biological behavior.It should be active follow-up and can be found as early as possible recurrence of CL.The expression of MMP-2 and CD117 has no statistical significance with tumor size and number in UL,CL and LMS group.Thus MMP-2,CD117 is expected to be judged USMTs category pathological diagnosis indicators for LMS biological targeted therapy offers more possibilities.
