Objective:The study is to formulate a comprehensive ability rating scale for cerebral palsy children which can comprehensively reflect their functional status in a way that is reasonable,trusted,effective and also simple,short-time,accessible by taking account of the situation of our country. It is the study that is for the purpose of rehabilitation guidance of children with cerebral palsy effectively so that they can improve comprehensive life skills and reach the maximum level of physical and mental rehabilitation, self-care, school attendance and socialization, which includes kinetism, viability, verbal function, cognitive ability and social interaction in five dimensions and is associated with item difficulty level and the patients ability level for the purpose. Reliability and validity of the scale, evaluation of the rehabilitation effect of the scale is suitable for 0~3 years old children with cerebral palsy. To test its reliability, validity, discrimination and feasibility assessment, rehabilitation effect makes the scale for children with cerebral palsy. Method:Through literature, patient interviews and expert consultation, information collection and extraction of children with cerebral palsy rehabilitation treatment, the formation of conceptual framework and the draft scale, by experts on the dimension structure and the expected to judge the degree of association, frame item pool was modified, formed the initial scale. The sample is extracted in a small range of pre assessment, screening items by using the method of classical measurement theory, combined with professional knowledge, to eliminate the unqualified items, watch as a formal investigation assessment using the modified quantity. Scale recovery once again using the same method after the items were screened, and ultimately the formation of 0~3 years old children with CP comprehensive ability scale. Reliability, validity, discrimination and feasibility assessment of the scale. Result:The ultimate formation including 33 items and 5 dimensions of " the comprehensive ability assessment of 0 ~ 3 years old children with cerebral palsy " is set through three item screenings that are the suggestions and modification of doctors, therapists, experts of community rehabilitation, educational institutions personnel, and family members of children, pre-survey and the formal survey on initial item pool consisting of 40 entries. It is included with 12 items of kinetism, 5 items of viability, 4 items of verbal function, 6 items of perceived cognitive ability, and 6 items of social interaction. The internal consistency reliability of the scale was 0.935, the split half reliability was 0.913, the test-retest reliability was 0.863 and the inter rater reliability was 0.996, scale reliability is good; the content validity, efficiency of the whole scale criterion related validity, construct validity, discrimination validity study showed a feasibility scale. Conclusions:The development scale in addition to medical experts also joined the early education experts and parents of children with cerebral palsy in the design, according to the characteristics of 0~3 years old children with cerebral palsy, simple, practical, short time-consuming, repeated evaluation; The evaluation results can not only develop the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy treatment, formulate individualized rehabilitation plan, can also provide rehabilitation goals for parents, make the hospital rehabilitation and family rehabilitation, rehabilitation of children with ideal level.
