Objective:Through the analysis of The cause of the failure after invasive mechanical ventilation treatment for AECOPD.In order to provide help for improving the level of clinical treatment of AECOPD.Methods:TO collect 140 patients with AECOPD by invasive mechanical ventilation treatment in our respiratory intensive care unit since January 2008 to August 2014, according to the outcome of treatment condition, dvided into vengtilation success group and ventilatory failure group, comparative analysis of clinical data of the two groups using statistical method. Results:â‘ Single factor analysis showed: The incidence of vengtilation success group is higher than the ventilatory failure group on age, Pa CO2, Multi drug resistant bacteria infection and MODS, but the K+ and ALB levels IS significantly lower in ventilatory failure group, the results have statistical significance(P<0.05).â‘¡Multivariate Logistic regression analysis indicated:age, Pa CO2, Multi drug resistant bacteria infection and MODS are the Independent risk factors of the failure causes by Invasive mechanical ventilation treatment. Conclusions:The elderly, arterial CO2 retention, multi drug resistant bacteria infection and MODS are the main failure reasons of AECOPD by invasive mechanical ventilation therapy.
