Myeloid sarcoma is a rare tumor that composed with immature myeloid cells in extramedullary sites, which always accompany the course of hematologic malignancies. With the development of therapy of leukemia, especially the application of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, the extramedullary relapse rate has increased, which is probably associated with some cytogenetical abnormities. It can present as a isolated extramedullary disease, with no bone marrow involvement, and the symptoms and image findings are not specific, accurate diagnose depends on mmunohistochemical of biopsy. There is no consensus on treatment, while appropriate early treatment may prevent the progress and prolong the survival time.
