With the use of broad spectrum antibiotics and immunosuppressants, the development of organ transplant technology, the incidence of fungal infection is increasing, and gradually become one of the important factors in critically ill patients died. The early diagnosis of fungal infection in clinic can better guide the clinical medication, but limited to fungal infection diagnostic gold standard specimens of tissue pathologic examination is not easy to obtain, fungus cultivation time consuming, fungal smear results and possible pollution factors, such as detection of plasma (1,3)-beta-D-glucan and the content of serum galactomannan is simple and easy to obtain, the specific and sensitivity were high, which is helpful to early clinical diagnosis of fungal infection, so as to advance the use of antifungal drugs, effective control of infection, and can be through dynamic follow-up plasma (1,3)-beta-D-glucan and the evaluation of the content of serum galactomannan treatment effect and prognosis of patients.
