Clinical Study Of The San Zang Tiao He Run Chang Decoction In Treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome With Constipation

Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation is a common bowel dysfunctional disease on the clinic.The clinical features mainly by abdominal pain and distension,with dry stool, defecation exertion or decease of defecation frequency. With the development of society,the incidence of IBS-C has increased every year.But at present,western medicine treating this disease is lack of special effects.This research uses a empirical formula named San Zang Tiao He Run Chang Decoction that comes from my research supervisor to treat the disease. By the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,to treat the disease from three organs of liver,spleen and lung,which gets good clinical effects.Objective Through clinical observation to the San Zang Tiao He Run Chang Decoction in the treatment of IBS-C, and estimate the therapeutic effect,aim to provide a safe and effective method for IBS-C.Method A total of 80 patients, who were diagnosed of IBS-C(stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen syndrome),were randomly assigned to two groups,treatment group and control group.40 cases in treatment group were treated by San Zang Tiao He Run Chang Decoction,40 cases in control group were treated by Mosapride tablets.4 weeks for a course of treatment,observation and treatment for two courses.In the course of treatment, record all changes of clinical symptoms and safety index. After two courses, to analysis the results of treatment objectively with statistical method and estimate the safety.Results(1)The clinical comprehensive effect rate in treatment group was 92.50%,and the control group was76.92%,the treatment group was superior to the control group.(2)The curative effect in reducing Chinese medicine symptom integral,the treatment group was superior to the control group.(3)The curative effect in improving the patient stool,defecation status,defecation time,abdominal pain and distension,lassitude,loss of appetite, depression or irritability,the treatment group was superior to the control group;There was no difference between two groups in the curative effect of improving the frequency of defecation.Conclusion San Zang Tiao He Run Chang Decoction can treat IBS-C effectively,and improve the clinical symptoms of IBS-C obviously,it has good safety, there is no significant side effects and adverse reactions in the treatment,and be worthy of clinical application.
